Webster Technique Prenatal Chiropractic Care

Why Prenatal Chiropractic Matters
From preconception through postpartum recovery, our doctors have cared for hundreds of expecting moms — and we tend to see the best outcomes when care starts early.
Pregnancy brings tremendous physical change, and regular chiropractic care helps your body adapt to all of it. More importantly, it strengthens the neurological connection between mom and baby. Our prenatal doctors are certified in the Webster Technique, which evaluates alignment and mobility throughout the entire pelvic complex. Restrictions or misalignments in the pelvis can contribute to pain, poor baby positioning, or challenges during labor — and addressing them helps create the optimal environment for a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
We also prioritize your comfort and peace of mind at every visit. Pregnancy pillows and gentle, specific adjustments ensure you and baby are safe and supported from your first appointment to your last.
Webster Certified Care
What is the Webster Technique?
Developed by Dr. Larry Webster in the 1980s, the Webster Technique is now the gold standard for prenatal chiropractic care. It’s a specific analysis and adjustment focused on one thing: pelvic balance.
Here’s why that matters — and it’s pretty amazing when you think about it. A balanced pelvis gives the uterus more room. More room means baby has more space to move into the optimal position for birth. And when baby is well-positioned, labor and delivery tend to go more smoothly. The body knows what to do; we just help create the conditions for it.
The Webster Technique is trusted and endorsed by midwives and birth professionals around the world, and certification is provided through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).

Benefits of Prenatal Care
Care After Birth
Postpartum Care
The weeks and months after birth are a profound transition — physically, emotionally, and hormonally. Your body spent nine months adapting to pregnancy, and now it’s shifting back just as dramatically. Chiropractic care during this time supports that recovery in ways that go far beyond pain relief.
From a structural standpoint, labor and delivery place significant demand on the pelvis, spine, and surrounding tissues. Realigning the pelvis and restoring nervous system function postpartum helps your body recover faster and function better — whether you had a smooth delivery or a difficult one.
The hormonal piece is one that often gets overlooked. The postpartum period involves one of the most significant hormonal shifts of a woman’s life — estrogen and progesterone drop rapidly after birth, and your body works hard to rebalance. Because the nervous system plays a central role in regulating hormonal function, chiropractic adjustments can help support that process. Many of our postpartum patients notice improvements in mood, energy, and sleep alongside their physical recovery.
And then there’s the day-to-day reality of new motherhood — the hunched nursing posture, the repetitive lifting, the exhaustion. We see all of it, and we can help.
Every postpartum experience is unique. Whether you’re ready to come in right after birth or need a few weeks, we’re here whenever you are.

Wellhouse has been an essential part of wellness for my family and me. They are thorough with their care, education, and adjustments. Each time you go in you are greeted by the warmest people and the appointment feels catered and informative to what you need that day. I have chronic inflammation and have been to other chiropractors before, but ever since coming to Wellhouse, I have had such an improvement on symptoms, sleep, anxiety and overall well being that I’ve never received before. My only complaints is that there aren’t more Wellhouse’s all over the twin cities so more people can experience this magic and care. Thank you Wellhouse team for being a part of my families health journey. ❤️

Very helpful, warm, welcoming office. Ideal for mothers who have busy, changing schedules and need to bring kids along to appointments.I started seeing the chiropractors at Wellhouse during pregnancy with my second child. They really listened to my concerns and I felt like everyone was rooting for me. After consistent care, I was able to have a smooth, quick labor and healthy delivery. Very much recommend!
