Gentle newborn chiropractic care

Gentle From Day One

Why Babies and Kids See a Chiropractor

When a child struggles, the whole family struggles. Stress and misalignment of the spine can have a significant impact on your child’s overall health, behavior, and development. We offer gentle techniques that work to correct underlying issues before they become hard-wired during development.

Our doctors treat children of all ages using age-specific adjustment techniques learned through years of training with the ICPA, Pediatric Experience, and Epic Pediatrics.

Our care goes beyond simply addressing your child’s symptoms. Our primary goal is to maintain the optimal function of their nervous system, allowing it to adapt, self-regulate, and heal as it’s naturally designed to do.

Age-Specific Adjustments

Gentle Techniques for Every Age

  1. Infants

Our doctors use a gentle touch on specific pressure points. The amount of pressure used is similar to how you would check the ripeness of an avocado.

  2. Toddlers

A “toggle board” is utilized by the doctors for this age. This device allows the doctors to provide a gentle adjustment that still results in the same amount of input into their nervous system as manual adjustments!

  3. Older Children

As your child continues to grow and develop, the doctors will progress to manual adjustments, similar to what is used on mom or dad.

Real Data, Not Guesswork

Insight Scans — Safe for All Ages

At your little one’s first visit — or yours — we run a thermal nervous system scan. This cutting-edge technology gives our doctors concrete data about stress within the nervous system, so every adjustment is personalized to your child’s body, not a best guess.

This is especially powerful for our youngest patients. Kids and babies often can’t tell us what’s going on — they just know something doesn’t feel right. The scans give us a window into what their little bodies are experiencing, so we don’t have to guess and neither do you.

As care continues, we use the same scans to track your progress over time. The data doesn’t lie, and watching it shift is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if nothing is “wrong” or I’m not experiencing any pain?

You are the best guide to know when your health needs some attention – but are you listening to that? We can often tell when things feel “off” before we truly start to feel any major symptoms. Listen to your intuition! The healing mechanisms are already within you, sometimes they just need a little help. Chiropractic is one of the most natural, effective ways that you can ensure that you stay out of pain, and that your body is functioning and healing at 100%. Don’t wait until the chaos of symptoms shows up. Be proactive and take care of yourself with chiropractic.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance. We prefer to treat our patients with the care they need, not just what insurance allows them to have. This means that you get to dictate your health goals! We do utilize all HSA and FSA cards. If you are interested, you can submit your claims to your insurance company on your own with a superbill that we would be happy to provide.

How much will it cost for me to come?

Our new patient visits are $139 and we offer care plans with incredible value for your care beyond the first visit. The cost of these care plans is customized to you, and is not determined until our doctors are able to collaborate in discussion, evaluating your findings and health history. We also offer family discounts on our plans to make getting the whole family under care as convenient and affordable as possible.

I’m nervous. What should I expect?

We understand that chiropractic may be new to you, or you may have had a bad experience in the past. It is our utmost priority to make you feel comfortable and heard. Our doctors will address any concerns you may have and will walk you through every step of your first visit. Feel free to look at the What to Expect page to learn more!

How frequently can I expect to come?

There is no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to your chiropractic journey. Based on our findings from your first visit, a custom care plan will be created for you with a frequency the doctors deem necessary in order to achieve the results we know you are seeking in this initial phase of care.

Wellhouse has been an essential part of wellness for my family and me. They are thorough with their care, education, and adjustments. Each time you go in you are greeted by the warmest people and the appointment feels catered and informative to what you need that day. I have chronic inflammation and have been to other chiropractors before, but ever since coming to Wellhouse, I have had such an improvement on symptoms, sleep, anxiety and overall well being that I’ve never received before. My only complaints is that there aren’t more Wellhouse’s all over the twin cities so more people can experience this magic and care. Thank you Wellhouse team for being a part of my families health journey. ❤️

Very helpful, warm, welcoming office. Ideal for mothers who have busy, changing schedules and need to bring kids along to appointments.I started seeing the chiropractors at Wellhouse during pregnancy with my second child. They really listened to my concerns and I felt like everyone was rooting for me. After consistent care, I was able to have a smooth, quick labor and healthy delivery. Very much recommend!

We’ve had a great experience so far. I am 25 weeks pregnant and they do the Webster technique which has been helpful in making sure I’m feeling physically well during pregnancy. They’re also great with kids and my kiddos love the play area!
